This is what we do:.....
The NCCW is run by volunteer resident members who are endeavouring to make Nova Constantia crime free and a better place to live. To achieve this....
We have installed and operate LPR and vehicle recognition cameras at all road entrances to the Nova Constantia area. These cameras operate 24/7 and are monitored at our area control office. All LPR results are checked against city wide and national lists of known wanted vehicles within minutes, and response teams deployed and SAPS called in when positive. This service is funded from members voluntary donations.
We liaise with ADT and monitor their two patrol vehicles assigned to the NCCW area to ensure efficiency.
We incentivise and reward our dedicated ADT patrol officers with bonuses from annual subscriptions.
We have the infrastructure to deploy resident patrols at short notice, with radio contact to our area control office.
